1942 M39

I received this several months ago. But I have not had the time to post it.
I cheated, and purchased this M39 from Pat Burns, and not one from the wild. I have been looking around, and they mostly seem to go for about same price as Pat anyway. I wanted one that hadn't been messed with too much. And chances are this one hasn't been.
This will be my only M39, so I wanted a good, solid example in my collection.
There is nothing about this rifle that stands out from the other M39s out there. It does have some tiger stripping under the lower hand guard. And the stampings on the stock ore very clear.
I have not had it apart to clean. And it may be a while before I do. I am prepping my house for sale. So not much time to do anything.
Hope you like.
It's one more off my "To Get List"

Very nice, congrats! This can't be the only M39 you're going to have. Once you take it to the range I'm pretty sure you will change your mind.

Down sizing. Just one child left, and she is 19. School taxes are killing me. Not moving out of area unless I find a job where I don't travel 95% of the time.

Very Nice! I have also purchased a 1941 Sako M39 Finn. Should be receiving it next week. I'll be posting it's own thread pic heavy....
Pat has ALWAYS done me well! Congratulations on a great rifle.

It sounds like you won't be shooting this beauty anytime soon, but it well be worth the wait.
