I just bought the tin on top and the tin on the bottom... Are the ones on top Sniper ammo on stripper clips and only 270rds in there? and the bottom are those yellow tips on stripper clips? What you think about these ammo cause i never seen these before...

Top one in the green tin is 270 rounds of Russian factory 188 Novosibirsk 1961 copper washed steel cased, LPS Light ball 147 to 149gr, steel core FMJBT, corrosive berdan primed and the [ ] markings on the tin mean it's on stripper clips. The galvanized tin is as mentioned above. Hungarian 182gr heavy ball factory 21 made in 1951 and is 440rds.

I just realized you asked if the top one was sniper ammo or 7N1 as it's refered to. I'm not 100% sure but I don't think so. The cyrillic writing under the 7.62 for sniper ammo usually starts with the letters CHA and looks like what's on the tin here. http://www.luckygunner.com/7-62x54r-152 ... -440-round This is 1997 dated but I think it would be the same if it was 7N1. The I don't think the Hungarian stuff is on strippers either.

Wow. That ammo costs more than my Current hunting ammo for my 30.06 at lucky gunner.

They do think highly of what they have to sell but then this 7N1 ammo kills stuff around corners.

I was told that the top one is russian lps ammo and has only 270rds in there and on stripper clips...which has 54 stripper clips filled with ammo... 3 stripper clips to a pack...the hungarian doesnt have stripper clips since its 440rds and has a yellow and silver tip...
