I think that the only slim chance of a match would be if someone would enter the numbers in two spread sheets. One for wants and one for gots. That way they could be sortable and searchable, otherwise it is looking for needles in Texas.

If there was such a spot I would enter my 20 or so unmatched and would be willing to swap out my matching for another un-matched any time. Of course it might be easier to get a grinder and a handy-dandy set of Harbor Freight dies.... :devil2:

I'd imagine geographic location COULD be of some help when posting. Particularly in those areas where a shop gets a case or two and doesn't match the bayonet with the gun (as happened in my case-no big deal). Members buying from the same lot would have a much higher chance of matching?

Looks like it was 1549 first. Not sure what the other number is. Poor thing has been stamped to death but I do like the Smiley face stamp on it.

Hi!
I have recently bought a Mosin Nagant 1891 bayonet but I have a doubt, as it seems to have 2 serial numbers: 43779 and 150307, which is the correct? and the other?
Besides, I haven't identified the arsenal, the other marks are a cyrilic mark inside a circle (it seems to be the 80 number) and another figure inside a circle, but not the ussual Tula or Izhevsk marks
Can you help me to identify and date the bayonet?

Thanks in advance :)

I have found another marks on the bayonet. One of them seems like a hammer inside a circle, and I have read that this is a Tula marking, so arsenal has been founded

I note that many of these entries are photos of the serial number - that does not let others do a search...

So, here is my information: I have a 1933 TULA Hex receiver with all matching serial numbers except the bayonet.

Serial number for the rifle is 34066 and for the bayonet is 6141.

I picked up a 759 bayonet with the '37 Tula M91-30 I picked up yesterday. It sticks like hell trying to put it on so I left it off it. I'm not sure what it fits, but it looks like your run of the mill M91-30 bayonet.
