Remodeled My Living Room

Post by musketjon »

Well the wife left me after 25 years of marriage a year and a half ago and I got bored one evening and decided I needed to show off the collection a little better so I "rearranged" some furniture. The room's a little empty but I like it that way and these beautiful ladies ALWAYS bring a smile to my face.

You use of lighting and paint is very well thought out.

Awesome! Seeing those photos I really can't understand the people who think these rifles are ugly.. Just makes no sense. One of the most beautiful rifles ever conceived, I think.. I really like the lighter laminate stocks..

You really do need a 1/2 empty can of beer and a pizza box with one slice left in it sitting on an old wooden ammo box or 2 for that real MAN CAVE look.

Don't forget some old shot up target papers tacked up on the wall :)

I think you should blow up a old washing machine with Tannerite and put the pieces in the corner.

I shared this post with my wife.

She said two things...

1. she's sorry your wife left you

and

2. no, I can't redecorate our living room.

Adding some spotlights hitting on each one would look nice. Like the ones used for illuminating portraits?

oh, and sorry about your wife leaving unless it came as a relief - then congratulations.

I had a boss that was miserable the entire time I knew him until he got divorced. Then he was as happy as I had ever seen him because he could just focus on being a great dad and being happy instead of arguing all the time.

That's a GREAT idea !!

BTW... what are the "security" arrangements, i.e. how hard are they to take down ??

Wouldn't want some A-hole taking all you beautiful rifles during a B & E !!

Canadian gun laws are very strict on displaying firearms. Locking mechanisms are involved. :beek:

I've got a friend, Big Game hunter, Africa, No. Canadian providences, AZ, NZ, and other places.

Immediately, when you step in to his house you know No female resides there.

Late 1800's to early 1900's structure, 2 story, but have you ever seen a giraffe fully stuffed in the hallway, and capes mounted in the dinning room, and hallways?

Confederate Veteran, aka (War of Aggression Against the South) buried in his backyard tombstone.

Really BIG caliber rifles laying around, like single and double rifles, and my better half gives me grief for not putting up a few M-n's that I like to fondle and gaze upon-) :big shock:

After a friend of mine split with his wife he decorated his living room with his Harley, parked it just to the side of the TV. He wasn't much on housekeeping so the place began to resemble the town dump, pizza boxes, beer cans, empty chip bags in layers.
