Thought I list this since it's something you don't see come around much. I don't have personal experience with Romanian ammo but Sam at SGAmmo told me it's quality ammo.

Cheaper Than Dirt has listed some of this. They do not beat SGAmmo prices, and I would rather buy from SG any day. I'm waiting for them to get some of this in heavy ball (yellow tip), as I have a ton of light ball (Russian and Bulgarian). I want the heavier load for a M91/30 that shoots it especially well.

Judging by my experiences with CTD I'd be skeptical that I'd even get Romanian ammo if I ordered any from them. At least if you order from Sam you get what you ordered...always.

Does anyone know anything about this Romanian stuff?

I purchased a case of Russian silver tip from SG ammo just before they ran out recently.

Is this comparable?

I hate to order it and then read a dozen posts about how bad it is

last day to order online for New Yorkers is January 2nd (to receive by January 15 deadline) if your'e ordering from SGammo because of the SAFE act and the new rule banning online ammo sales.

Make sure you compare shipping costs. The price posted for SGAmmo is with shipping. Even if CTD gave it away, I guarantee you it would be higher with shipping. They are crooks, period.

He must have changed it. "Attention New York State Customers: The deadline for placing an ammunition order at SGAmmo for delivery to NY state will be January 7th at 11pm CST in order to allow time for delivery by the 15th when the new laws go into effect and prohibits such transactions."
