Russian Video on the history of the Mosin

Post by Chiroptile »

I don't know if this had already been posted somewhere on this forum in the past.. If not, here's a little history with English subtitles. Good translation. Not like you guys don't know any of this stuff already..

This is a really informative video. The actor in the striped shirt in the beginning is cleaning a m1907 carbine! I like the caption near the end that stated they fought by rifle, bayonet, and butt stock. Ever wonder how many enemy soldiers were defeated by crushing blows rather than bullets?

Although obvious propaganda like this movie series is quite informative and I enjoyed the Mosin section. Now when I have time I will have to look at the rest of them. Thanks for posting. Bill :D

Selling a friend his first 91/30 tomorrow. Just sent him this as prerequisite watching. Mosins changed the world and this video is very informative and interesting from the Motherland's POV. Thanks for posting it!
