PW Import

Post by kcwildman »

Had a strange problem today. One of our regular transfer customers had a PW import with a bolt with no extractor, and a fired case in the chamber. Case head was red (paint, ink?). Any thoughts?

Not a clue? Did it come from a individual? Maybe they messed it up and sold it instead of fixing it?

Proof load fired before export? Forgot to remove it after and replace extractor maybe? Or possibly some weird headspace checking case?

Some ideas, but not exactly sure.

Makes little sense? If the bullet was fired I would think the head was gone down the barrel, now what was the red head you are talking bout? Bill :?

Leave it as it is. The ages have been at work on it and man can only mar it.
