Happy Birthday Marines with a few Mosins

Post by ModelAUZI »

Well I went to the National Museum of the Marine Corps. I found 3 Mosins in there. An M44 from Grenada in 83. Then there were two snipers. Unfortunately you could not make out any info on them. Here is my daughter with one of them. Sorry for the bad pic.

Wow, I never considered a Mosin carbine showing up in Grenada, but why the heck not?

I saw lots of odd stuff in Thailand in 1988. A mosin in Grenada is not at all that far fetched.

ModelAUZI Looks like ya'll had a great time! Thanks for sharing!

I have seen those Mosins multiple times but that was before I know the difference. It's a great museum, worth the trip for sure!

I was shooting at my club yesterday and afterwards repaired to the clubhouse. Two of our members were there and were shocked when I bought them each a round and told then "Happy Birthday, lets take a trip to Filthly-Delf-Pee-AH and go to TUN'S Tavern!"

Thanks everyone. The next time I go back I'll count how many they have. I was trying to see the manufacture but I think I was getting strange looks as I pressed my face to the glass.
