Here we have a 1942 Finnish M91 B barrel on a 1905 Izhevsk receiver. Bore is in "As New" Condition... By & far probably the nicest, most crisp, shiny bores on a Mosin I have ever seen save my 42 B barrel M39. Testament to the fact those Belgians know what their doing when it comes to barrels. Stock is solid with minimal cracks, The 2 piece finger-joint is flawless and hard to even see with a mating of new front wood with a very older era rear portion. The wooden cross-bolt is still evident... It also still has the Finn barrel band retainer screws too. Bluing is almost 100%, Bolt is Finn matched to the receiver & barrel. Previous owner said it shoots & feeds rounds very well. Looking forward to getting this one out for a bit of range time, Just don't know if I want to dirty up such a pristine bore.
Pardon the quality of the pictures.... They were taken from my ailing camera.
