Fin capture 91/30
What's the value on a fin capture hex receiver? Decent shape,
Re: Fin capture 91/30
$30 to $50. Those darn Finn bubbas always wrecking good Soviet Milsurps. Since your new to this and all and I feel generous, I could use it for parts and give you ......... say $75.

Actually I think they are running from a low of $200 to up around $300. Check closed auctions on gunbroker for the most recent selling prices.

Re: Fin capture 91/30
What arsenal? Year? how many Finn modifications does it have? Finn matched bolt, or no matching numbers? Stock finish if it's still in a Soviet stock? Any special markings past the SA stamp? All of this can have a bearing on value.
Leave it as it is. The ages have been at work on it and man can only mar it.

Re: Fin capture 91/30
For an Izhevsk or Tula $200-$300 is the ballpark these days as Sgt. Rob stated. Now if it's still in Dragoon configuration add $100+ to the price.

Re: Fin capture 91/30
Wow, that shouldn't have been a long decision. Finn (capture or not), looks good, $150 - BUY ITand then post pics. Run of the mill refurbs are now retailing for $200 and there is no comparison between the two. Good lesson learned though. Hang around here for a while and watch the pricing on GB and you will get an idea what some of these rifles are worth. So when that $100 Romanian M-44 or $150 91/59 or the $90 Laminated 9130 comes up, you don't think - check it out and BUY IT .

The days of finding listings for: "old rushin rifle $75" are long gone.

Which would have been nice too if the description had been accurate. Any of these Finns are awesome to find.

Re: Fin capture 91/30
$75? I would have shit a brick! Back in the day I saw some joker at a flea market trying to sell some old Russian rifle for $75, no takers of course, not at that ridiculous price. We went round and round and settled on a much more reasonable $40 for such an old relic that nobody but me would have bought anyway. Took me ten years to learn that it was a Finn M28/30finloq wrote:The days of finding listings for: "old rushin rifle $75" are long gone.
