Sportsmans Guide? Bought a lot of Turk from them back in the day.

Got a copy right next to me as it so happens. I'm going to give them a shout out and see what gives. The prices "look" very good on many items.

They send me about 20 catalogs a year, it's the "shooters" catalog that you want, but they are online also. I buy long underpants from them.

I was a club member where you save about 10%, 5% on ammo. It expired and I have not renewed yet due to my collapsing economy, but they have lots of cool items and fast shipping.

You pretty much get the membership fee back in coupons, i used a $10 coupon on this first order and the send 2 more with your membership card. This is my first order from them, but shipping is was attractive. Just hope it comes in the wooden crate,couldn't get a positive yes/no on that. But with this order i'l be set for a long time on surplus ammo.

I've ordered from Sportman's Guide in the past. Fast shipping was a plus, but the prices were excellent and they always have various coupons going around. I always waited for free shipping and ordered in bulk. Glad I got that .223 and 7.62x39 back even a year ago. We'll never see those prices again. Glad I don't need any more

I bought all the POF .303 brit from them also, maybe not one of my better choices.

Just ordered another crate from SGAmmo. 70's 188 or 10, no choice. 53 crates left when I ordered.

Whats the web site Jim? When I googled sportsman supply, I got some outfit in PA that says they no longer sell ammo over the phone or on-line...

Sportsman's Guide still seems to have a lot of 7.62x54r in stock, 880rds Bulgarian for $170, plus a bunch of the new production stuff. I've ordered a bunch from them recently.

Overall, 7.62x54 is one of the few calibers I've been able to find easily lately, that and 17hmr. The mainstream centerfire hunting calibers, of course .223/5.56, and even 22lr are a different story.

Funny, I got a crate from them last week! I ordered some .40 from them but back ordered twice. I'm a member and have saved the fee plus some.
