In my mind, what I saw was:

Rongo: Whew! FINALLY, I get a chance to sit down and read the forum!

A couple of minutes go by, then...

MrsRongo: Honey?! I broke the bathtub faucet!
Rongo: (tries to focus) What babe?
MrsRongo: The bathtub faucet! I broke it! Waters running now!
Rongo: (whispers Dammit!) OK babe, I'll get it in a minute!
MrsRongo: But Honey! The water is running!
Rongo: (whispers Dammit!) (thinks to himself...I really want to finish this post!) Babe! I can't shut it off now! The washer and dishwasher both are already running!
MrsRongo: But Honey! Can't we stop them so you can fix this now?!
Rongo: (panics, but thinks quickly) No babe! If we shut them off mid-cycle, the pumps will lose their prime! They won't start up again!
MrsRongo: Are you sure?
Rongo: (slight smile) Yep, I'm sure! I'll get it as soon as they are both done! (now, where was I? Oh yeah...Ishevek Arsenal, 1936 --)

Well dear, didn't you say you were going to take a bath later? Sounds like now would be a good time

No, That was last night. I shut the door to the pantry & her favorite mirror in the hallway came crashing down! I looked at the way she hung it there & was completely amazed it held for 3 years. :big shock:

Half @$$ to be sure.

And guess whose fault it was?!?!? You guessed it. :rolling:

Rongo, you can't stop your washing maching or dishwasher mid-cycle? What a pain in the butt. My septic tank would have overflowed letting water run that long, let alone the water from the appliances

Yes, he could have stopped them...but, if you are ever asked, the answer from this point on must always be No! Never stop your appliances mid cycle!

Did I say to stop them mid-cycle?
That must have been a typo :no evil:

This is why I like a lot of valves in the system so you can cut off one thing without shutting off the entire house.

oh, oh... just got the oops page again...
I was here, made some posts, left and went to return 15 minutes later and got the oops page. I clicked on the provided links to get here and the oops page loaded again. So I closed my browser and got here from my favorites. And I've been on and off here all day on this computer. Maybe not a hiccup, but a small burp anyway.

Yeah, something is getting glitchy again here in the east.
After hitting Submit to the above post I clicked on New Posts like I always try to do, before I am taken to my post, and I got the IE cannot display this page, but I was able to back up onto the forum. Weird.
