“Freedom is the right to tell people what they do not want to hear.” George Orwell, English novelist, essayist, and critic, 1903-1950
Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience.

Just tell them what they want to hear. They might take your new gun before you get it.zhuk wrote:millman wrote:I thought you wrote psycho appointment.

Re: Mosin revolvers
Who went for a psycho checkup? Is it because no one knows what day is today or yesterday or tomorrow? I'm confused on what day it is here and there. Is it Tuesday?

Re: Mosin revolvers
Oh it's real handy especially for someone like me. I'm in the country with little to no options for what I shoot so it's been great. This is one of the reasons we fight the gungrabbers. They'd stop it all if they had their way. I see today the Mayor of New York, who is a billionaire and is spearheading with his personal money a campaign to push gun restriction, was sent a few letters containing Ricin today because he's pissed someone off.zhuk wrote:Order ammo on the net...how handy that would be

Leave it as it is. The ages have been at work on it and man can only mar it.

Re: Mosin revolvers
An original Tula with no import stamps with an 1895 date would bring that at least. We got in several MO marked Nagants last shipment.NDguy wrote:saw one at a local gun store in town. Wanted $219.99 for one.
