Martin, that's a rediculous looking list you got there. I mean, you got it all cluttered up with a old plastic Remington 22. So I am willing to help you clean up that list. All you got to do is send me that Nylon 66!:P

I have bought two WASR 10/63s, four type 53 Mosins, a 1939 91/30, and a 1992 Chinese SKS. I'd have to say my favorite was my $60.00 U-fix-em type 53 with matching numbers. What a surprise.

Martin, you got all those this year?? Your probably one of the few that make me look bad as far as numbers go, but your collection is a much higher caliber then mine as well.. Very well done !!

Greetings all. My introduction to Mosin Nagants and this web site was what I think was a lucking find for a new kid. 3 weeks ago I pulled this rifle out of a crate at a very small local gun store in the warehouse district of Henderson Nevada. It is a 1933 M91/30 Izhevsk Hex MO 1933/50 refurb in excellent condition. I cleaned it up, found a can of ball ammo and shot 3 MOA the first time I shot it. I'm sure it would do better if I could actually see my target.
Great photographers here. I really enjoy being able to see the real deal. Here's a couple photos of mine.

I was so impressed with the way it shoots I went ahead and ordered a M44. It arrives today.

Best purchase of the year.... Tipton 1 piece non metallic cleaning rod. If you own a 91/30, this WILL make your life easier and is worth the price (coming from a tightwad, too).

I know I sound like "paid advertising", but this rod changed my outlook on bore cleaning from "chore-like" to "almost enjoyable".

Bought quite a lot of guns this year, my best purchase is gonna be between the $300 1904 dated Izhevsk 91/38 and the $130 1941 Finn'd Izhevsk 91/30 with some sweet finnish details

Henderson! My Brother lives in Fallon. I used to go up there all the time to Sand Mountain with the Rails.

That's how I got it. I've done nothing to it but put some speakers in it, sinces she's a little loud with the top off.

I'm still in awe on all these nice rifles I am seeing here.

Jeeps are like mosins. Utilitarian and fulfill a variety of roles well, and they have unmistakable lines. Very nice.

Wow, you've had one hell of a year! I'm pretty envious of a few of them, especially that 1932 M91/30 and the 1898 M91.

Do you have any pictures of the two non-import marked Russian SKS's you acquired? Those have to be pretty uncommon.

Sadly, 2013 was a brief year. I had a move overseas and collecting is suspended indefinitely. Before I left, I got a 1922 Nagant revolver non-import marked. Radom pistol, 1944 Tula M38 refurb, two unissed B Barrel M91 (one an antique) and the following M28. The M28 has been refurbed some with a replacement hand guard. Nice Vaasa district rifle.
