What is on your gun bucket list ?
Re: What is on your gun bucket list ?
I would love to get a British Enfield Webley, I just think that the break top action and the empty shells flying out is really cool.

Quigley Down Under Sharps
Colt Ace
Colt Woodsman
Singer 1911
Colt WWII 1911 excellent condition

My Bucket List is evolving over time but here's the current version:
M1 Garand
Lee Enfield
Mauser 98
Arisaka
M1911A1
SKS
Ultimately I would love to have a sample from each major combatant in WWII

When half of the people get the idea that they do not have to work, because the other half is going to take care of them, and when the other half gets the idea that it does no good to work, because somebody else is going to get what they work for, that is the beginning of the end of any nation!

Re: What is on your gun bucket list ?
These are all within reach for under a Grand each, the Russian runs around $400, Garand and Carbine $750-$900 for a decent one, M96 about the same as the Mosin, we have been seeing a number of them around here lately, and the Mauser is $300-$500 depending on what Mauser.timlin33 wrote:Some in reach some a dream.............

Re: What is on your gun bucket list ?
Mauser first, the Garand is more expensive, but in the end easier to find as the Garand doesn't lend itself well to sporterizing while the Mauser is sported by everybody and their grandmother.tinman507 wrote:My Bucket List is evolving over time but here's the current version:

Back in the 60s and 70s "bushmaster" had a whole different meaning
