Nice one Timber, I really like the stock on that one. Looks like its a DDR also? Of all my rifles I don't have a single matching bayo. Not counting electro penc.

We had some really nice looking rifles added tot he forums this year. I like to see more of them (including the refubished rifles). They were a bunch of fun too!

It was hard for me to pick this year, I bought 6 rifles and three stand out. A SAMCO sniper and a M39 Tikka, and a M19/38. But the best "deal" for me was the Tikka at $200

I'll follow the lead of some others and post a different rifle on this side.

Hate to torment Des, but he was able to score this rifle for me from an acquiantance based off a verbal description. Took a small gamble because of the great price and scored. Neither he or I saw the rifle before hand. If for some reason I ever need to part ways with it it goes back to Des.

Antique Bohler stepped barrel M24.

I was a VERY happy man when this auction item slipped passed the "others" and fell into my lap. :chuckles:

It is a 1944 TIKKA M91/30 with a Round Receiver  , new Tikka barrel  and a M27 stock  . A wonderful example of Finnish re-use.

My best purchase of '13 is definitely my '34 Tula !!

My brother bought it for me as I did not have my Canadian PAL (possession and acquisition license) at the time. However, I received my PAL in the mail last week so now I can legally take possession of my vintovka.

I posted my P-26 on the other board, so here I'll go with my $200 Sestroryetsk (included a bayonet and 300+ rounds of ammo).

TulaTom, that Sestroryetsk is absolutely gorgeous! I'm hoping that next year one of those will find its way into my safe. Very nice rifle!

Tiberium, very nice red letter. As a matter of fact all you guys are getting me stirred up. There is a lot of nice hardware here for sure. Since I am all stirred up I thought I would cheat and post a second rifle. Non matching Hungarian m44. I love it too much.:P

I spent all my money on an old Jeep. But I have been looking and I do still have a few weeks left

And it might not be the, rarest, most expensive, or the prettiest. In fact, it has the most faded bluing of any of my milsurps. But the original matching 1932 Tula transitional Panshin M91/30 just seems to pull the most on the heart strings. Lots and lots of character.

I got to say the 10 Mosin's, the 1 SKS, the GSG AK47 22cal, the 3 hand guns and the Savage 30-06 and a ton of ammo. :pointleft:
