I think these are a good buy if you don't expect too much... Good luck on the ones you ordered.

No tracking number? Yea, that sounds like the Century I remember.

Looked on Century's website but didn't see whether or not they are open on Saturday's...not a very good company that doesn't list their hours and days of operation... I know I don't because I'm always working 7 days a week it seems like.

Got the last one all cleaned up & put back together again. I filled the bore with CLP & plugged it for a couple weeks, patched it out well then hit it with Hoppes & a .338 caliber brush. looks much better now & most of those rust pillows are now gone with a bit of surface pitting remaining. I'll get up some pictures of it tomorrow.

I'm going to try "shooting" mine clean tomorrow, cleaned it the normal way but it has some crap down in the lands that the brush just won't get, figure a few rounds of surplus might knock it loose, lol.

I bought two of these as well. They should be here early this week. Before you put the lemon oil soak on the stock and handguard, what did you do to clean the stock ? Does CLP work better than just using a good soaking of Hopps #9 in the barrel? I have never used it before. Those rifles sure cleaned up nice. Cant wait to see a range report!

I wiped mine down with straight simple green to get rid of the worst of it, then rinsed with water, then started with the lemon oil. It seems to take off any residual cosmo and crud, usually takes a few applications and buffing to get the best results.
