Don't find the 1916's very often. Great acquisition. Likely a Balkan region import, but purdy nonetheless!
No words of wisdom come to mind at this time....

Very nice gun. I have not seen a Remington yet. Was at the range today shooting the New England Westinghoue and a T53. Will post range report in separate topic. Really nice find!

Nice Balkan Remington! I have one too. I like the Balkan even though they are pieced together for the most part. You can find some really uncommon and early features on them.

I see no SA, looks like a Balkan Remington, and a nice one, I saw a cleaning rod for that on GB this morning , the seller wanted over seventy bucks for it. :)
