Since I was in the army however (way back when) maybe I'm a little partial to the M27's.
Here's some pic.s of an M27 that has the best stock I have ever seen on a mosin, I don't know what type of wood it is but I like it, it is a stark contrast to the artic birch examples that so many of us like and for the obvious reasons.
While not really rare it is one of the 2150 made by VKT in 1932.
What seems to be rare on this one is the stock itself and it seems to have it's original handguard which have been replaced on so many of these rifles.
This one also has it's original matching bolt as well as it's matching serialized winged connector.
I have added a 1937 dated, Sk.Y and Friitalan Nahkatehdas Oy leather makers marked, roller buckle sling, while technically not correct, it could possibly have been later used by the army as the Civil Guard was disbanded.
