Mosin Nagant Wish List, what's on yours?
Everyone on here has a "wish list"
I am a new collector (only have 2 MN's so far) but here is what is on my wish list (not in any particular order)
a Carbine (not sure which are the best?)
a M91 (I'd like one dated prior to 1900 but will probably take and early 20th century model)
a Finn (growing to like them the more I see them posted on here)
that's about it for now.. I'm sure I will add more in the near future

I seem to have all my "luck" with M39's so I'll wish to continue to have some good fortune in my searches:
M39 Stright stock.
M39 "B" bbl on a War time stock.
M39 1970 unissued.
Thats about it, Oh.........and I wish they would be FREE!

Looking for a nice M91/38. But always looking for a M27rv or 1907 carbine.
Don't know how I'll fund the last two, but I won't miss them next time.

Re: Mosin Nagant Wish List, what's on yours?
I have only been collecting these guns for a couple of years. I have eight (8) arsenal refurb guns; 5 M91/30s and 3 carbines, so I am about done with the refurbs. I'm looking for a WW1-vintage, non-refurb M91. Would prefer a Remington or Westinghouse, but hard to find.
Re: Mosin Nagant Wish List, what's on yours?
would loke a remington to go along with my westinghouse
Re: Mosin Nagant Wish List, what's on yours?
A Remington or Westinghouse in any configuration
A Chatellerault, a Sestroryetsk and/or anything else pre-1920

I've only got one. Its a tula hex receiver so I wouldn't mind having a nice round Izhevsk forties refurb next.

Re: Mosin Nagant Wish List, what's on yours?
I have what I was looking for, The only reason I would buy more now is if I see a deal so good I would be insane to walk away from it, M39 for $50 or something like that. What carbine is the best? They are all good, I like the 91/59, and the M38 more than the M44 as I hate fooling with bayonets, but that's as a shooter, otherwise I like them all as collectibles.
Leave it as it is. The ages have been at work on it and man can only mar it.

Brad, it is indiscreet to point out such inaccuracies. If I am not "finishng" my collection soon I am liable to be In-dis-street.desdem12 wrote:Ok Wait a second before i get to the list....SA1911a1 wrote:I would like an all Ruskie Dragoon next, and that will complete my collection...........

Okay right now, I'm going to lowball you with my wish list, just so you know this post may self-destruct or not even be accurate by the time you read it!
I would like to add a nice "Finned" M38........... What? It can happen

Re: Mosin Nagant Wish List, what's on yours?
I don't have a ton of Mosins, but I have some nice ones from the 20s - 40s, and just judging from the pictures here it would be fun to get something pre-revolution. In particular those Sestroryetsk pictures are just too cool, although I'm not even sure where to start looking for one.

I forgot the t53 that's on my short list. They look rough but then so do I. Nothing like a battle rifle that looks like a battle rifle!

Re: Mosin Nagant Wish List, what's on yours?
I have been wanting a T53 also, but I stumbled onto a Hungarian M44 Friday on auction. I can't wait to show it, but first I have to get it home. I tell you this much, it is missing the bayonet and the blueing is gone. gone I tell ya!:P
