The last three spam cans of ammo I have bought for the 7.62x54 originated from the 188 factory in Novosibirsk, Russia in the mid to late 70's. I was curious about the status and production of the plant today and ran accross their English web site. This is pretty cool stuff about the current cartridges they produce and the history of the plant.

Leave it as it is. The ages have been at work on it and man can only mar it.
