Flag Pole Refresh....

Post by ffuries »

Back in November my wife decided the flag pole needed refreshed, then in February she decided the flag pole pad and the landscaping around it needed refreshed also.

First she was going to paint the pole, but decided to order a new one in black versus white. Pulled the old one out, and planted the new one.

Then the raw concrete statues around it, needed cleaning, she decided paint them in brushed oil bronze, and did the crosses in white, followed by sealing them. Touched up the paint on the star on the pad, and ordered the name plates for the pad. They will go down, and the pad sealed.

First picture shows how it was for a few years, the rest show it now after her refresh.

Leave it as it is. The ages have been at work on it and man can only mar it.
