I use to have one of these helmets years ago but ended up selling it. Recently I saw a listing for some and decided to pick one up again.
These were supplied to Finland by Germany and made in the same factory as the other German M40 helmets in WW2. For the cost I believe they're a great buy.

Nice, years back I bought one of these, not sure where it is just now, but I still have it.
Leave it as it is. The ages have been at work on it and man can only mar it.
