M17 and M18

Post by awalker1829 »

Went by the LGS and picked up my M17. Won’t get to shoot it until next weekend at the earliest due to our club range being temporarily closed. The Bighorn Fire is burning close by and the property is in the evacuation preparation zone. Properties just east of the club are under mandatory evacuation.

Due to disruption with their supply chains, Sig Sauer is now only shipping new guns with a single magazine. They do have a magazine redemption program which allows the buyer to “order” two magazines from their shop at no cost. You have to enter your firearm’s serial number and ZIP code to determine eligibility and what capacity magazines may be sent to you. Once you redeem your magazines, you also get a discount code for 25% off your next purchase from Sig Sauer for the inconvenience caused by the supply chain disruption.

Currently, the fire appears to be burning east on Mount Lemmon. All of the areas around the club are now back to "SET" status. Arizona uses a three step evacuation program-"Ready, Set. GO". Now the town of Summerhaven and surrounding have been downgraded to "SET" status. At least this has not gotten into any developed areas and is burning off fuel for any potential future fire.
