Dear Santa:

Post by bunkysdad »

Yes folks, I think it is a good time to start the annual dear Santa list again, and so that I can get better prepared, I am applying again for a C&R license which I let expire some time ago.
My list could go on for awhile, but I really want:
1. Swiss K31
2. Swiss K11
3. M95 straight Pull long rifle
4. Nice Chinese T53
5. 357 mag revolver, Blackhawks single action or Ruger or Taurus double action.

Dear Santa;

Since I know you can see what I already have please bring me the stuff I don't have.
P.S. Please keep sending those guys to the gun shop that have to get rid of their firearms because the wives won't let them keep them.

Dear Santa, that list I sent you, yea, I could use item 41, 47 and item 68, be careful with 68, it's sensitive to sudden shock. Thank you, it's always a pleasure doing business, the....package.... will be in the usual spot, triple chocolate as always.

Dear Santa, I just want to spend a week at JYD place going through all his goodies. His place just has to be better than you're workshop. If you cant work that out then a big suite case full of cash jammed down my chimney will be fine.

That item requires the mythical quintuple chocolate found only in the land just over the rainbow, good luck.

Following up on the list from qz with his 91/38 wishes, all I am looking for is the elusive Sestroryetsk 91/38. If I ever stumble onto a Remington or NEW, I would swap it for a Sestroryetsk if anyone was interested. My M91 collection is complete with one from each arsenal from each decade.

Oh yes, I still would like an Imperial Nagant with the half moon front sight.

Be careful with the "new and improved" Python. Gun writers love them, and I'll grant that they are "pretty" but the action has issues. I would use your list to get as #5, #'s 2,3 and 4 in the the order you find them.
Damn, I'll bet that's going to leave a mark! Probably hurt too!

I want more ammo in the following calibers
1) Federal 168 or 175 match
2) 5.45 x 39 Soviet
3) 6.8 SPC
4) 300 Blackout subsonic
5) .45 ACP 185 grn JHP. ..
Just because

Every thing is plied high and deep.
And it doesn't eat anything waiting to get used

Tax refunds and COVID-19 checks came in, so I’m picking some items off my list. Just got an Eddystone M1917 rifle to go with my Pattern 1914 Eddystone rifle. Back to Gunbroker to look for more items to fill niches in the collection. That or buy some more reloading components.

We got our direct deposit today, straight to savings, without passing go. It offsets some of the coin I had to shell out for the new AC system.

Easy come, easy go.

Interesting. I started this thread in 2014, and from my original list I did get a Swiss K31 and a Ruger Blackhawk, albeit in 45 Colt instead of 357 Mag. Lately my interest is turning to handguns and black powder arms.

5. 357 mag revolver, Blackhawks single action or Ruger or Taurus double action. ( my S&W is a little offended, have you ever seen a Taurus sticker on a truck yet?)
