BCD 1944 from Axis Arms

Post by djbuck1 »

This is the Kar98k I recently acquired from Axis Arms (excellent customer service by Matt).

It is a duffle-cut vet bring-back without import mark, "numbers matching except the bolt (which matches itself)," and handguard, which is a replacement.

Sight hood is a replacement.

The rifle came with its original sling, but it is in delicate shape, so it has been stored.

Good bore, though my limitations as a photographer precluded a pic.

Leave it as it is. The ages have been at work on it and man can only mar it.
Don't hit at all if it is honorably possible to avoid hitting; but never hit soft.
