M91 Bayonet

Post by Almost_Samurai »

I've been looking for an Arsenal matching Bayonet for my M91. I watched a few Ebay auctions where a Tula hit $102.50/no scabbard. An Izhevsk hit $123.50/no scabbard. :big shock: When this one popped up I didn't hesitate after reviewing information. I bought it outright instead of letting it go to auction after seeing others skyrocket. It came from a much larger collection that was being liquidated. Thoughts? Hopefully it is what I believe it is.

It fits beautifully, had minor rust in the socket that I cleaned up.

Thanks!

Not bad, not bad at all. I bought my M91 Bayonet before I know what I was doing as I thought it was for a 91/30-dumb! It has the Tula hammer marking though. No Serial number that I can find.

I did the opposite, found a real cheap 91/30 kit. Pouches, cleaning kit, stripper clips, bayonet and sling. Once I realized EVERYTHING was wrong era I started looking for age appropriate items. As I replace the items I have a friend with a few 91/30's I've been giving the extras to in trade for Ammo :bwink:

Since I have a M91 bayonet I guess I will have to find me a M91 Rifle. ;-)

Sounds like a good plan to me!
