Nice Iraqi K98 on there. FYI these probably came by way of the East Germans whom got them from the Russians. EG is likely who re-numbered and reworked the gun before the Iraqi's got it. I have one of these in my collection, and it has a Post war stock on it, and its a bolt MM. The EG's put a proof on the barrel under the HG if I remember right...

It would make perfect sense that it came from EG. It has all of the characteristics of it. Although, I don't see any EG markings, that isn't that uncommon on them. I am on the fence about keeping it. I just don't have the room in my personal collection at the moment!

Great service from AXIS. I talked with Matt yesterday to get something on my want list. He said he was just packing up the Mexican Mauser to get it to UPS. I went outside to get something out of my truck a little after noon today and sitting against the wall by the door was a long brown box. Now that is some service, thanks Matt.
