Went to the Range today

Post by entropy »

I built something last weekend and was itching to try it out:
ARpistol.jpg
That's not me shooting it, this guy and his son were there shooting his son's AR carbine that he'd built, and I asked them if they wanted to shoot it.
ARpistol2.jpg
So they did, and liked it! I love it, the muzzle blast was more than an AR carbine, but not as bad as I was led to believe. It points instinctively, and was more than accurate enough for what I want it for.
(Mostly a range toy, but HD or truck gun is possible, too. It is a pistol, and as such I can keep it loaded in the truck, as I have a CCW.)

I also checked the zero on my carbine:
50 yard carbine.jpg
I think it's still good. the 3 in the bull are the carbine, the other .22 holes are the pistol offhand. The .30 cal are from my AK.

All, in all a fun day, except for the guy who left an AR at the range. (not me or that kid) The other guys shooting left a note with their phone # to call.

I don't know why the pics are inverted. :vconfused:

Gravity is gravity. It's just important to do it before all the blood rushes to your head and you pass out!

I brought the pistol, my carbine, and my AMD-65,as well as the PT145 I was carrying, I shot that a bit, too.

Here's my 'evil black guns':
