Here's Cam shooting it: Here's what I'm giving up in accuracy:
Here's what I'm getting: I think it's an OK trade. I was going to build one, but hard to beat the price for a rifle I have shot, and know shoots well.
Here's some shots

I like it. I like an all of course. That Sportical is set up just like my new Anderson AR. I learned the hard way that a standard flip up front sight won't work in a low profile gas block rail. [emoji14] I have flip ups and a red dot at the moment, but I may add the scope. I like yours real well. It's nice to see three generations involved in shooting and hunting.Junk Yard Dog wrote:Why didn't you just build your own? NBC news told me yesterday that it's easy to do and only takes 44 minutes, explaining how last weeks spree shooter got his weapons. Only 44 minutes from parts ordered off the internet with no FFL involved and no serial numbers. It's on the news so it must be true, right? Have fun with the new toy.
Trust NBC news? Nah, never. I'm sure a lot of us remember the GMC gas tank fiasco from Dateline NBC.Junk Yard Dog wrote:Why didn't you just build your own? Yeah especially NBC, or MSNBC. [emoji14]RazorBurn wrote:Trust NBC news? Nah, never. Nah, the news would never lie to sell a hot story. Never I tell you.
Actually, I was going to build one; I even asked Ron about his 'secret' transfer guy, but he said after all that, it'd be easier to just order it from Russell's and pick it up at the shop, but then Cam stopped by the other day and suggested the trade. I mulled it over for a few days, because I'd rather he kept the AR (every able bodied man of sound mind should own one, or an AK), but he's happy with this deal, and so am I.Junk Yard Dog wrote:Why didn't you just build your own? Oh, yes you do Steve! I seen it on TV, The Walking Dead is in GA and VA! They wouldn't have it set up here. If they're that slow in 80 F, they'd be comatose at 0 F! All we'd have to do is survive until winter, then walk out at our leisure and pike 'em.(we don't have them in the deep south)
