New Swedish M38

Post by miner49r »

My new rifle arrived today and she's a beauty.
1941 Husqvarna M38 in really nice condition.
Numbers match except floor plate is 188 and bolt release lever is 241. Super cool considering the serial numbers started at 600,000 and the first 34 never made it out of the door.
.50 on the front sight and a crisp bore that still shows the machining.

Should be a good shooter. Range report required. That front sight might need to be changed out for a taller one.
Real gun control is the ability to hit the target.

I'll be at the range this weekend. I'm also going to have my new Ljungman AG42B for a second attempt at making a decent group.

I think my Swedish collection will be growing because they are a sweet rifle.
Any suggestions for the next addition?

An m96 would be my next choice. It's longer sight radius let's you see what a Swede can really do as far as accuracy goes.
