poppin' caps!!!

Post by jimpierce7 »

You know, that just doesn't look or sound very good at all does it? Hmm. Maybe I should stop it? lol

Had a good morning with my XD 9mm. I am not good yet, but I am getting better. Regardless, it is a lot of fun. Especially when the marksmen aren't there shooting. lol You know, the guys that every group is the size of a quarter, no matter what gun they shoot.

ready to go

not bad, upper left was first round. Center was second round. The other three I kind of shot at randomly just to see how I do.

This is the first round.

Woo hoo Jim. Popping caps sounds good. I love my Springfield Armory. I have the XD40. Dang fine pistol. I sold my subcompact XD9 to buy a Finn Dragoon, but eventually will get another. My remaining 9mm pistols are good shooters anyway so I am ok taking awhile. I like shooting 9mm very much.

Popped a cap in someone? Oh well, I just hope it wasn't anyone I liked.
Leave it as it is. The ages have been at work on it and man can only mar it.

Not bad. I spent a little time Sunday on the range with my Colt M1911A1 and Beretta M9 Commercial. Couldn't spend much time as I had to clean things up and clean up to have dinner with my parents-Sunday was their 51st wedding anniversary. Between the Colt and the Beretta, I'm much better with the GI sights on the Colt. With the military sights on the Beretta, I tend to hit low-need more practice.

Busting a Cap is slang for shooting a person, Busting Caps indicates recreational shooting (at least here in Bodymore, Murderland)

How about "187" ?
