4 seasons of Mosin

Post by Chumlee Bumsnag »

Nothing special here. I had some nice natural light in the kitchen today and just happened to be cleaning carbines. The light really brought out the color of the stocks.

Nice colors all right :)

Number two looks unissued; no wear on the sling hole. I am betting that is a Polish version. They are all beautimus, but I like the two in the center.

Thanks guys. The top one is a '42 Izhevsk re-furb,
Next is a '53 Polish that had only a few rounds though it when I got it.
The third is a '46 Izhevsk non-refurb with a wonderful natural stock.
Finally the last is a '44 Izhevsk M-38 that has no refurb marks but does have the reddish shellac stock which make me think it is.

They are all very sharp looking. That laminated one is really eye catching to me! Thanks for posting them up!

Have they been given any range time?
