I also use the mineral spirits. If you can't readily find it in the proper quantity, pick up a can of charcoal starter. (same stuff)

I understand, I just want to make sure I wasn't jeopardizing the weapon if I waited a few days or even a week to clean it so long as I'm not using corrosive ammo
