We have a new advertiser, The Mosin Crate. The owner, ncreptile or Alden to this friends, has been a member here for some time and has recently requested to be one of our advertisers. His main claim to fame is that any firearm on his site for sale will have an accurate description and pictures to help in your purchase. He has a good reputation in the milsurp world and he does stand by his word. You can access his site by simply clicking on his banner. This is a good fit, and to the extent one welcomes a sponsor, welcome!

I've bought several rifles and my sole Nagant pistol from Alden, and he is first-rate. No drama. You deal directly with him, not with Hooga Valada on the phone while some FNG in the warehouse "hand selects" and "packs" your rifle. You can see pictures (plural) of what you are getting on his website; his descriptions are accurate; your purchase is snugly and safely packed, and it's timely shipped.

I have found his prices to be competitive and rational. He deals in relatively small lots, so it's a good idea to watch his site and/or Facebook page to see what's coming up. You'd best be ready to call when a sale starts because generally what he offers doesn't last long.

And though I know I have posted it before, below is a pic of the rifle I acquired from him just a week or two ago, while those who dealt with . . . another seller . . . we're clutching their brows and shaking their fists at their own folly.

Always nice to see a seller who takes the time to take photos and write a description of what you are buying. It makes the buying process SO much better for those of us who buy regularly online.

Hello to all!
Thanks for the welcome. Been here a little while but never posted too much. That should change now.(Relax though, I don't

my advertisements. I'm a fellow collector myself and hopelessly addicted to Mosins and Milsurps in general.)

BTW Hickok45 should be posting up an M39 video here soon. I picked him out a rifle with a very nice stock and worn finish because he seems to like that look.(I do too).

Welcome MosinCrate. I have purchased a couple of rifle and not been unhappy with any of them. Other than thanks, Alden always throws in nice comments. Can tell he is has chronic Mosinitis, Mauseritis, Swissitis, Enfielditis and just about any other Milsurpitis you can have.

Even worse.. I'm on a luger kick lately. The "itus" gets progressively more expensive over time haha.

Not to bump this thread.(It annoys me too when that happens.)

But yes indeed. He's got an m38, m44, m91 and a 91/30 PU sniper. He's also got an M39 he should post any day now. I'm wanting to send him one of my G43s but that's not for business so I gotta get that one back.
