Leave it as it is. The ages have been at work on it and man can only mar it.

Very nice. Are you finding ammo for it? I have been seeing it locally lately made by Prvi Partisan.
Re: NON import marked nagants
Yes, I just picked up 500 rounds of Prvi for a little less than $220 at a gun show. If I had more money I would have picked up more at that price!bunkysdad wrote:Very nice. Are you finding ammo for it? I have been seeing it locally lately made by Prvi Partisan.

SG Ammo has a 1092 round spam can of military surplus for 299. Looks like these are from the 80's, so should be good ammo. Last year I bought Fiocchi, 500 rounds for an incredible deal of 9.95 a box of 50. I also have a lot of the Russian military surplus. The surplus is loaded to much higher velocity (about 1000 fps). The commercial ammo for the Nagant is more docile at about 750 fps. It is like shooting a .22.bunkysdad wrote:Very nice. Are you finding ammo for it? By the way, dskid, your revolvers are really cool. I like the one with the old style rounded blade front sight. This is reminiscent of the older model S&W M&P Model 10 revolvers from the early 1900's.

Thank you. I was going to bid on this one, but for some reason I didn't. Someone got a good deal.

I remember the lot of non refurb M1895's that were on the market back in the 90's, they were under $100 and not moving that fast. Times, and collecting tastes have changed. Now everybody is after the shit that only I used to seek out.
