Very cool Sonny, here that would get you 10 years in the Fed Pen and a new boyfriend named Butch. Don't they make an 8 inch too?

The shells on the ground seem to be low base loads. That must be a beast in high brass 00 Buckshot.

I swear I'd get one, to hell with it. I'd pay the SBS tax too!
Cool guns, they'd make some kinda mess up close.

Cool, Sonny! 8-)

You need to visit some of the pistol pic posts here so you can feel what we in the US are feeling looking at this...... :P

Actually, buying an AOW here is not that expensive; The transfer tax is $5 instead of $200, and there are several good manufacturers out there, Serbu being my favorite. Manufacturing one your self requires a $200 tax, making it more expensive, unless you do it on a Maverick or a shotgun you already own. ( getting pumps really short usually involves some gunsmithing that could drive your price up...)

Dang. Now I'm getting the itch for a Serbu Shorty.....

Well I sure was a dumbass today...

Took the Outlaw to the range and the darn thing shoots pretty good.(but loud)

Birdshot..mild recoil
Buckshot....good recoil
Slugs...really good recoil...and I even shot both barrels at once..Now that was really really good recoil. :o

Then I turned stupid and thought it would be cool to fire both barrels with slugs at the same time from the hip.
What was I thinking. :facepalm1: :facepalm2:

The recoil drove the break open lever into my hand. The darn hole was about one cm deep. So off to the hospital I go and I ended up with one internal stitch and two external stitches..

Bottom line is leason learned and I won't be doing that again..

Anyways here's a poor quality cellphone pic..

That's a painful spot, too. I accidentally stabbed myself with a knife there on my left hand when I was younger and life was miserable until I was able to hold a coffee cup normally again. It takes away your opposable thumb.

Nice shotgun. You Canadians get all the cool shotgun stuff! :Drool1:

Too bad about your hand. Sounds like something a 10 year old boy would do on a dare! :chuckles:

Ouch!

I have a permanent arthritic lump on the top of my RH index finger knuckle from shooting a 16 ga. SxS grouse gun repeatedly one handed, both barrels at once. The lever never gouged the web of my hand though.

That is a pretty sensitive part of the hand. I stabbed myself in the same spot on my left hand late one night opening a package. I hate doctors and mine was only about 1/2" deep, so I washed it, used compression to stop the bleeding and used super glue to seal it shut. Worked like a charm, but it took a few days before I could use my left hand for much.

I superglued mine, too. I was at work and the show doesn't stop.

Both are pretty neat looking shotguns. Thanks for the info!
Damn, I'll bet that's going to leave a mark! Probably hurt too!
