Kari's Enfield

Post by Darryl »

This is one of Kari's last Enfield he bought. $700 and it is a beauty.

Nice! :D

So whatever happened to Kari's collection? I hope someone in the family kept them.

Some have been sold, but many have not. As time passes many will be liquidated and the proceeds returned to his wife. Kari had a dealer involved to help with some of this for a fair commission.

I was running through my emails looking for things he sent me on reloading Mosin ammo. I ran across this one. A few down is loading instructions for the 303 ammo and a problem I was having with my #5 Enfield (headspacing). I'll post them later.

Are the PMs from the old forum totally gone? Kari sent me some good 6.5x55 reloading info.
“Freedom is the right to tell people what they do not want to hear.” George Orwell, English novelist, essayist, and critic, 1903-1950

Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience.

Well, they are in the hands of Bob and I am waiting for him to send everything over to me. I set up a FTP site for him to upload all the files.

Some more of his. Not sure how much of this he posted (most I think), but this is what he emailed me.
