Christmas Present for my Daughter

Post by Mike »

I think she'll be happy, she lost her CCW in a nasty divorce so I just bought her a replacement. :D

Leave it as it is. The ages have been at work on it and man can only mar it.

Nice. I don't particularly like the smaller pistols, but very nice.

I prefer a Walther or Beretta, but if she likes the Springfield XDs then she should have one.

Mike,
Did you know that you had a long lost "Love Child" living in Maryland? He doesn't need a new CCW, just some stuff to make up for all those years growing up with nothing under the tree on Christmas day. Ammunition is universal and says that you care so much more than $$$, although I guess it will do............ :chuckles: :chuckles:
Damn, I'll bet that's going to leave a mark! Probably hurt too!

This long lost child likes older toys, how about a nice weathered Sistema.

He gave it to her so she just let him take it back to try and make things easier. Now there will never be a problem like that in the future.

I can't think of a better situation:

- a daughter who likes firearms
- a proud Dad who gives her daughter a firearm

Reminds me of my Dad. He passed away in 2007. My wife and my Dad were very close and she was more torn up over his passing than I was. We ended up getting his old .38 Smith and Wesson snub nosed revolver. Dad's old .38 has been at my wife's side ever since. Nowadays, she keeps it hidden in the kitchen as a house gun, be she still refers to it as "Dad's gun."

You're a lucky man. My 14 year old niece and her friend visited last Summer but neither had any interest in guns. All they wanted to do is shop. Go figure.
