Well, I'm back after a leave of absence. I'm going to slowly post my collection, which some of you from gunboards may recognize, others are recent additions I haven't posted anywhere yet. To start with, I am posting my 1940 Finn VKT M91. Not in great shape, it's still a beautiful rifle and I'm fairly happy with it as a shooter. These are generally not a respected model, considered to be inferior to SAKO and Tikka in the same way Izhevsk is considered inferior to Tula for no real reason. I always liked VKT rifles, so let me know what you think.
VKT, Sako, Tikkakoski, all built to exactly the same specs, same exact rifle with different markings. Nice find
Leave it as it is. The ages have been at work on it and man can only mar it.
Don't hit at all if it is honorably possible to avoid hitting; but never hit soft.
Theodore Roosevelt
That looks like a very respectable M91 to me. I like it.

What I find funny is there were more rifles made at Tikka than VKT... Yet it seems there is still a preference to Tikka out there. I like them all; And this one is no exception. Looking good...
