1944 with all matching numbers, referb with counter bore and a M44 stock. Nastiest varnish paint brush job you've ever seen.
I'll try it out in the morning with several others. :wink:

Looks awfully good to me. :vcool: :vcool:

And it's Shellac, not varnish on the stock. That's what the Soviets applied to their rifles & is the correct finish for a War-Time M38. Very Nice. :biggrin:

The stock looks "refurb normal" to me and is far better than a lot of M91/30s that I have seen.
