I would love to win this Auction.

Saw this on an auction site, it is a Finn Captured SVT-40 w/ bayonet. I would think the $600-800 estimate would be about half of what it will go for.

You might learn the hard way that it is not good to post live auction. You just opened bidding to over 2500 competitors.

Leave it as it is. The ages have been at work on it and man can only mar it.

Some of us watch these auctions in hopes of getting a deal. $300 is a deal and it wont sell for that.

I had been watching this one for the past 3 1/2 weeks it's been up and even got authorized by the auction house to bid on it. Found my SVT yesterday fortunately. I wouldn't want to have to bid against the other 2499 folks here! They say they're cheap yet they always out bid me!

Still no posting to live auctions.
“Freedom is the right to tell people what they do not want to hear.” George Orwell, English novelist, essayist, and critic, 1903-1950

Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience.
