Double V
Double V
Hey guy's!
Every once in awhile one comes along that just speaks to you.
Can you hear it?
After picking up the newest M27 with the V on the stock I got to thinking about this one again with it's carvings(although not really related), so from the archives and without further delay! Enjoy!

Leave it as it is. The ages have been at work on it and man can only mar it.

Carved into the stock Finnish letters run the gamut of different things and the meaning of which is lost in my observations of meaning expounded by many. Even our very knowledgeable Finnish members seem to differ in what they say it could mean yet there are a lot of different ones out there and indeed my Finnish rifles have a great variety. I find them sort of fascinating puzzles we look and guess at when it comes to meanings. Bill

Dang it Desdem! Now I have to go shoot myself in the head father clicking on that link.
I was thinking Twin V. Maybe the former soldier who owned this rifle was a big Harley Davidson fan?
Seriously though, that is a great looking M27!
