Well thanks to swoop Ive got #12. Im not sure if its been shared on the boards so here I am sharing it ;) Shes got a bit of surface rust and some pitting. No matching #s. Shes a 1934 Tula Finn capture! I love the deep dark wood. Got her cleaned up about as good as I can this evening.(took pics during cleaning) We'll spend some quality time tomorrow.
41 marked, nice, what's with the red light in the last pic? My first 91/30 was a 1934 Izhevsk, but the stock is a lighter shade.
Leave it as it is. The ages have been at work on it and man can only mar it.
Don't hit at all if it is honorably possible to avoid hitting; but never hit soft.

whats the significance of the 41 mark? I honestly don't remember. And I put my finger over my flash because it was making it so you couldn't see anything because of glare
Just slight surface rust, will clean right up. I have found that the camera and flash will bring out rusty looking spots that you don't normally see. Very nice Finned 91/30.

Finnish property mark used prior to the SA stamp, only in use for part of 1941, continuation War rifle.

Man, you Ohio guys have the best luck. Camp Perry, SOG, and all the other places and then you come up with these trades.
Damn, I'll bet that's going to leave a mark! Probably hurt too!

'41 marked Finn capture. Very nice. I have one myself ('35). The Finns sure made them better, didn't they. :
