Hello Michael, welcome to the board, either rifle would be a good start
Leave it as it is. The ages have been at work on it and man can only mar it.

Hello All,
My name is Kevin I currently own two Mosin 91/30's, I love this history of these firearms, and enjoy shooting them whenever I can. I've learned so much about these rifles in such a short amount of time, and am anxious to meet more people who have the same interest as I do in them! So Hi all hope everyone is enjoying their weekend! 8-)

Hello,

A friend with an C&R license kept asking if I wanted a Moisin and I finally relented at got a $99 M44 and a can of ammo.

Then I started lurking on Moisin Nagant sites and found out about the Finnish Rifles.

I haven't made a purchase as of yet but it's looking like I might end up with a M39.

Have a great evening everyone!
