Leave it as it is. The ages have been at work on it and man can only mar it.
Don't hit at all if it is honorably possible to avoid hitting; but never hit soft.

Hello All,
My name is Kevin I currently own two Mosin 91/30's, I love this history of these firearms, and enjoy shooting them whenever I can. I've learned so much about these rifles in such a short amount of time, and am anxious to meet more people who have the same interest as I do in them! So Hi all hope everyone is enjoying their weekend!
Hello ! I'm new here, and have a Mosin-Nagant 91/30. I'm 72 years old. And getting back into collecting and shooting.
Look forward to being a part of the forum.
Thanks,
