On a side note, you need to go over to Amazon and pick up "The Mosin-Nagant Rifle" by Terence W. Lapin, 6th edition (the yellow book). This will give you a lot of information on the Mosin 3-line rifle, it's origins, it's use and manufacture in other countries and all of it's markings. Under $20.
