Look at the accompanying chart on the above attachment. This MAY explain why so many new shooters talk about being high at 100 yards or less. If you see constant high right hits, think about your ammo.....

Did any of you see the guy on Ebay selling the wooden ammo crates, empty of course, for 30 bucks each?

I don't shoot corrosive but with the deals I've been seeing on them with free shipping I've been tempted to buy some to add to the hoard

No sense buying it if you refuse to shoot it. If you need paper weights you can get bricks for cheap. Now if you were to cross over and try some milsurp, that would be different.Dan4good wrote:I don't shoot corrosive but with the deals I've been seeing on them with free shipping I've been tempted to buy some to add to the hoard

I have, and will continue to buy more than I could ever reasonably shoot.bunkysdad wrote:

I'm a bit out-of-consensus on this subject, but I believe it could one day look like a great investment if King Obama bans the import of foreign "Military Ammo" via executive order in late 2015.
Even if that doesnt happen, and even if Russia decides to one-day break it's voluntary ban on importing 7.62x54r to America, I dont think the downside loss would be all that dramatic.
