It is not as good a photo but check the October 2013 American Rifleman (page 96) in their article "Where Will We Bury Them All" Finnish Arms Of The Winter War. The sniper 's rifle appears to be the same as in your photo.

Cool! I've never really researched snipers because I've never really been in the market for one, maybe I should learn more about them in case I find one in a pawn shop or at a yard sale.

The mosin PE sniper picture seems to be quite distorted? The finger groove and and rear handguard as well as the forend just don't look right, maybe it is that the pic. was blown up?

I have one that was sold to me as a Finn sniper, but after my research, I don't believe it is. Photobucket is under maintenance and I can't access my pictures. If you PM me your email, I'll email you pics of it.
