Very nice and quite uncommon piece in that condition. Looks to only be missing it's magazine cut off, the charger guide on the bolt head, and the pointer on the volley sight .

I* Model adopted on July 2nd 1906 noted as having a deeper magazine case than previous models weight of rifle was reduced to 8lbs 7 ozs

I am not going to sell it, but I was wondering what you guys figure the value of this rifle is. I paid 175 not really knowing what it was for sure. I only know enough about enfields to get myself into trouble (although since buying this one, i have been researching). I thought I was getting a pretty good deal but your feedback makes me think it might be more than I thought.

You got a super deal...I wouldnt hesitate to give you double that, at least ,right now..The biggest obstacle I see is finding the charger guide. The pointer and cutoff will be much easier to find.

Thanks for the help. Btw it has a letter f stenciled on the side of the buttstock. Is that some kind of "warning-do not use this rifle" marking?

The F is red paint stenciled on about 1 inch in size. Has been there for a very long time by the look of it.

Rack number maybe, in any case, to designate the rifle as a non shooting training rifle they would have put more paint on it than just one small letter. As with any rifle, check the headspace before shooting, Okie has the gauges for .303 brit.

Looks good, your bayonet was made in June of 1916, it saw some service
(that rifle was a once in a lifetime buy, it's beautiful, you did good on that one)
