TWENTY ROUND NORINCO BOX MAG

Post by squaw man »

I want to try to find one of these for my model 56 carbine.
Since it is Norince OEM and easily reversable, would this be considered an alteration? :vconfused:

No, just a parts swap that can be put back, question is why would you need that?
Leave it as it is. The ages have been at work on it and man can only mar it.

While it is a native Chinese part, be prepared for issues with feeding. It could take adjustment to make it feed correctly. It's a fairly common issues with them, and some depending on rifle, could take some slight fitting.

I have had 2 and they seem to work fine for me. I had one on my regular Norinco, now one on my paratrooper. I like it because;
1. Not permanent
2. Doubles the capacity. Uses an entire 20rd box of 7.62x39. At our last group shoot I ran outta ammo in my mag way too fast.
The first 20rd box mag I got would not feed. The last 2 worked fine. The prices have shot up pretty good in the last year or so however.

I have one on my Norinco, and it works fine, no issues ever. Got it at a gun show for $5. :thumbsup:
